This is the most important manor of Bergantiños and is located
in Artes, in the municipality of Carballo, just 30 minutes from
A Coruña. The property comprises a main house built in the 16th century around a medieval defense tower. There is a beautiful chapel and extensive grounds covering 18 hectares that boast several auxiliary buildings. Caretaker`s house, granaries, mill, dovecote, barns and stables… surrounded by gardens, forests, meadows and streams. Also part of the estate is the Carballo "casadeiro" of Santo Antonio (marriage oak). This is an impressive oak over 800 years old. Because of the legends and ancient rituals associated with marriage that refer to it, it is much loved and visited by locals.

FACILITIES

In this enchanting environment we have built a glass enclosed climate controlled pavilion for celebrations that holds up to 500 guests. There is an adjacent covered outdoor area for cocktails. All surrounded by gardens, fountains, ponds and spectacular views of the imposing building and the lush green valley in which the property lies.

Completing these modern facilities is an outbuilding housing the kitchens and lavatories, powder room and cloakroom. There is ample private parking next to the main entrance for the convenience of the guests.

The property's characteristics allow you to choose different areas: one for the
cocktail reception another for the entry of the bride and groom, a different one
for the photo shoot...thus turning every celebration into something unique and memorable.
